¿What is Funky?

In funky, as well as in hip-hop, steps from jazz, break dance, hip hop, afro rhythms or contemporary dance are mixed. The movements are very choreographed and intense, they are sharp and expressive, focusing mainly on the arms and trunk.

The funky has a strongly accented rhythm, the expression through the movements is very important for this style of dance, the funky has a style similar to hip-hop, where counter-beat movements are performed since it tries above all to attract attention with the street style that this dance style has.

Funky classes are taught for adults and adolescents from beginner to intermediate levels in Madrid Centro.
